The Shared Discovery Trail of Masungi Georeserve allows guests to go through the conservation area, and come up close with the karst terrain. This experience is ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups less than seven guests. A park ranger will be guiding guests through the trek providing a deeper understanding of the area. The trek lasts for 3-4 hours in total, but may be shortened or lengthened depending on the guest’s preference and capacity.
Saturdays and Sundays until May 17
Experience an enchanting return to Philippine traditions and the majestic night skies at Masungi Georeserve. Embark on a short guided 45-minute hike and learn about nighttime wonders. This will end on a rock peak where freshly made hot chocolate and traditional meriendas of bibingka or puto-bumbong await. As you enjoy your warm cup under the night sky, listen to stargazing experts as they narrate the stories of the cosmos, the stars above us, and humanity’s place within it. The four-hour experience closes with a lantern-lit dinner in the midst of the forest nestled in a valley. Food choices are traditional banana-wrapped meals patiently prepared by Masungi's community partners.
Saturdays and Sundays starting April 18
Special Date: May 1
Moonlit Symphonies is a listening and musical experience set within the landscapes of Masungi—where music and nature are heard together. The experience unfolds as daylight softens and the city lights begin to glow below. It begins overlooking the city, where melodies meet the skyline—a quiet exchange between the mountains and the world beyond. Here, guests are guided through a first movement that reflects on our place in the natural world, where sound travels across distance and the patterns of wind and terrain become more apparent. As night deepens, the journey continues into a space embraced by the forest’s stillness. In this more intimate setting, listening draws closer — to the layering of life, and the subtle rhythms within the landscape. The second movement turns inward, exploring our relationships with ourselves and each other. Across both settings, familiar songs are reimagined through strings, flute, and voice, gently woven into the sounds of wind, water, and forest. Alongside this, a light Filipino dinner is shared at a communal harvest table, with locally sourced juices, tea, and coffee, while wine is available separately.
